China's humanoid robot factory is a partnership between Leju Robotics, who focuses on design and software, and Dongfang Precision Science & Technology, who handles production and scaling. As the robotics industry has reached its turning point and as automation scales fast, this production line manufactures one robot every 30 minutes. Though building the robot is easier, the software is the main issue since it's difficult to teach robots how to function in the real world, shifting the pressure to AI developers.
