A malicious actor gained access to Partnered Health's network systems and stole sensitive medical records. This breach impacted around 21 clinics across major cities in Australia such as Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra. While Partnered Health has gained permission to prohibit the publication or misuse of the stolen data, cybersecurity experts say that it will be impossible to prevent the data from being leaked in the black market.
