Hackers linked to the Clop extortion gang exploited vulnerabilities in Oracle’s E-Business Suite software to steal data from dozens of organizations, according to Google security researchers. The attacks, which began as early as July 10, targeted corporate executives with extortion emails and accessed sensitive information without needing login credentials. Despite Oracle’s earlier claims that the issue had been patched, the company later acknowledged that the zero-day flaw was still being actively exploited.
