Intuitive Surgical Impacted by Cybersecurity Incident​

Intuitive Surgical, an American biotechnology company, was recently hit by a a cyberattack. Through a cybersecurity phishing incident, there was a compromise in valuable patient and employee data. The company states that there has been no impact on Intuitive's operations and products. Medical networks were not impacted as the networks were segmented. Intuitive Surgical took immediate action to resolve the problem and secured affected items while activating response protocols.
