Non-emergency calls in Calhoun County may face an Artificial Intelligence system instead of a dispatcher. This AI assistant named "Callie" helps answer non-priority calls while dispatchers focus on 911 emergencies. Callie is trained to respond to complaints and requests that do not hold upmost priority. The county states that all calls are still initially reviewed by human dispatchers.
