Employees of N.L. Healthcare received an email which was titled 'June Holiday' and stated instructions to register for the paid day-off work as a thank you for their hard work. The email contained a link that employees needed to click on in order to proceed. However, the email was just a cybersecurity phishing test to see which employees would click on the link. Backlash from health care employees is being received now, and the president of the nurses' union states that workers are upset about the email given a time when many are burnt out from work. The CEO of N.L. Healthcare says that investigations are being held to see who initiated the test.
