On August 3rd, over 780 uniqe IP were found in a brute-force attack targeted at SSL VPN devices; all the IP addresses were identified as malicious at detection. With targets including Japan, Spain, Hong Kong, and Brazil, the observed traffic was found to specifically target FortiManager systems.
