France Decides to Switch from Windows to Linux

France plans to moves some of its government computers to Linux to reduce the reliance on U.S. technology. The French Minister David Amiel says that the government can no longer accept how it doesn't have control over its data, especially with the unpredictability of the Trump administration. The French government also announced them switching from Microsoft Teams video conferencing to the French-made tool, Visio, reducing foreign reliance.
