Polymarket recently confirmed that hackers were able to steal cryptocurrency from many users wallets. The hackers were able to implement a malicious JavaScript code onto Polymarkets frontend which allowed them to take transactions from unsuspecting users. The company claims that they were able to contain and remove the compromised dependency and are currently trying to refund affected users in full.
