Hackers Trick Google Users with Fake Tesla Ads to Spread Viruses

Hackers have been running fake ads on Google that promise preorders for Tesla's Optimus robots, leading people to fake websites that look just like Tesla's real ones. These sites ask for a $250 non-refundable deposit, but instead of taking money, they secretly install harmful software on your computer when you fill out the form. This malware collects details about your browser and device, then downloads more malicious code that runs hidden in the background. It leaves no traces on your hard drive which causes it to be undetectable. The scam started in early August after Tesla hyped up their robots, using tricky domains like offers-tesla.com to fool victims through Google's paid search results.
