Only a Few Are Willing to Pay the Full Cost of AI
AI may be growing in popularity, but there's a limit on how much consumers are willing to pay. AI use has increased to about 25% of adults daily, about 61% of adults have used it at some point, but only one eighth of US adults pay for AI. Experts say they don't expect to see many more paying customers anytime soon. Given the extreme costs and low adoption, AI companies have pivoted towards offering AI to businesses at a markup. Will that be enough?
