Kettering Health, an Ohio-based healthcare system, experienced a system-wide technology outage due to a ransomware cyberattack by the Interlock group. This attack, which started on May 20, 2025, disrupted patient care systems, canceled elective procedures, and shut down call centers. While emergency rooms remained open, the health system has been working to restore services, including bringing radiation oncology equipment back online, and has warned patients about scam calls requesting payments.
