The Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act, originating in 2015, has helped to prevent many cyberattacks through enabling sharing of threat intelligence between business and government. With key provisions of the act set to expire in September, there lies a growing concern that a lapse in information sharing could increase the risk of vulnerability for small and medium sized businesses.
