Microsoft, OpenAI and Anthropic Investing Millions Training Teachers in AI

The project, called The National Academy of AI Instruction, is a $23 million initiative backed by Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, the national American Federation of Teachers and New York-based United Federation of Teachers. They will develop an AI training curriculum that can be distributed online and in-person at campus in New York City to over 400,000 kindergarten through 12th grade teachers. This group aims to ensure students know how to use AI, as well as automate some tasks so teachers are able to spend more time engaging with students.
