MIT entrepreneur and founder of Reframe Systems, Vikas Enti, is using industrial robots and different construction techniques to build homes three times faster and 20% cheaper. They build the modules, like woodworking and plumbing, in the factory, and assemble all of it on site. Entis' Reframe Systems is so busy that they plan on going from 74 to 100 workers in the factory and plan on finishing building a home from 180 days to 160 days. The company aims to scale production to 200 homes a year to meet the 222,000 new unit requirement.
