The key to sustainable human presence on other worlds relies on building infrastructure inhabitable for humans: radiation shielding, rocket landing and launching pads, and buildings. The Moon to Mars Planetary Autonomous Construction Technology (MMPACT) project is experimenting with 3D robotic printing for other-world construction projects.
