Hoboken has launched a 12-month pilot program putting 20 autonomous delivery robots from Coco Robotics and Avride on city sidewalks, beginning in the First Ward. The robots are designed to deliver food at pedestrian speeds while potentially reducing delivery-vehicle trips, congestion, and double parking, with plans to expand the program if it proves successful.
