Elon Musk recently floated the idea of a Hyperloop between the Texas cities of San Antonio and Austin. Elon has made promises like this for other cities such as Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles but none of these have yet to come to fruition. The Vegas Hyperloop chauffeurs riders in a Tesla that travels through a tunnel connecting casinos to the convention center. The company’s valuation sits at 23 billion USD, but it is unclear how much of the money is hype and how much is actual profit. Will the San Antonio Austin loop actually happen or is it another desert mirage?
