This new material allows the power to boost by 12.9% further expanding their lifespan 200% more. This was developed at KAUST in Saudi Arabia. This new material allows for passive cooling and is easier compared to normal solar panels. Lastly SciTechDaily states "Commercial solar panels convert only about 20 percent of sunlight into electricity, while the rest is either absorbed as heat or reflected" through these new solar panels they hope to change that.
