NVIDIA has introduced “Ising,” the first open-source family of AI models designed specifically to accelerate the development of practical quantum computers. These models focus on solving two of the field’s toughest challenges—quantum processor calibration and error correction. By making these tools openly available, NVIDIA aims to help researchers and enterprises build more reliable and scalable quantum systems, bridging the gap between today’s experimental machines and future useful applications.
