Operation PowerOFF Uncovers 3 Million Criminal Accounts and Seizes 53 DDoS Domains

The U.S. and two dozen other countries teamed up to take down multiple DDoS-for-hire services. These services allowed individuals, even with almost no technical knowledge, to execute malicious attacks with step-by-step tutorials at their disposal. These services have attacked victims in school, gaming structures, the Department of War, critical infrastructure, and many more. Four arrests have been made, along with 25 search warrants that have been issued.
