On June 30th a third party customer service platform for Qantas Airline was attacked, exposing over six million names, email addresses, phone numbers, and birth-dates. Qantas assured customers that the breached system did not contain personal financial information or account passwords. In the past two weeks Hawaiian Airlines and WestJet have faced similar cyber-breaches, leading some experts to believe the Scattered Spider cyber group is behind these recent airline sector attacks.
