Cybercriminal group, ShinyHunters, claims to have breached the FBI, stealing terabytes of sensitive data on almost all agents and job applicants. The group, motivated by a demand for the FBI to take back a report they claim contains false allegations, reportedly breached an Oracle PeopleSoft server through an Amazon-hosted government cloud. After taking the FBI's jobs portal offline, the hackers warn that the stolen data could allow malicious actors to extort agents. This would be marked as the second major FBI system breach this year.
