The Shinyhunters hacker collective is back in the news after breaching the FBI’s servers. This massive hack saw over 5,000 FBI agent’s personal information stolen in one day. In response, Dutch police arrested an alleged leader of Shinyhunters on September 15th. The hacker group quickly released an official statement denying the man apprehended was part of their group. Regardless of his real status within the group, Shinyhunters is a massive international hacker collective.
