University of Bradford Proposes Robotic Dogs to Fight Wildfires
Globally, wildfires have been steadily increasing in both intensity and frequency. As a means to combat this natural phenomenon, researchers from the University of Bradford have began to experiment with robotic dogs that can utilize artificial intelligence and 6G connectivity to detect the precursor signs of a wildfire and alert emergency teams before the local ecosystem is exposed to greater risk. In particular, West Yorkshire has experienced a noticeable increase in wildfires within recent months. The West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service had been vocal about their interest in the University of Braford's work.
